As an avid storyteller (novelist, filmmaker, writer, starving artist) and one driven by an itch to see a world where the female heroes I never had as a kid are normalized on screen, I often find myself full of opinions about movies, but lacking a place to put them.
Enter: Scribblings.
You'll find a somewhat anarchical buffet of my thoughts here, most related to contemporary entertainment, gender politics, and the relationship between the two. Now and again I branch out when I have pressing enough opinions on other topics; those thoughts may find their way into the buffet, as well.

This blog's primary function is as a place for me to put things rather than as a forum for others' perusal - but I love a good discourse, so if you have thoughts on my thoughts, I'd love to have a conversation.
